Woodman Point is a headland on the west coast of Western Australia. The kiteboarding beach is located in the Perth suburb of Munster, 22km south-south-east of the city centre and 8km south of Fremantle. It extends westward into the Indian Ocean. The kitesurf spot is protected from swell by Garden Island. Woodman Point has flat to choppy water. Sewage water is pumped back into ocean by a cement factory. Plenty of room to launch and land on several beaches facing 3 directions. The area has very sharp shells all over the beach, so watch out when rigging up. A great kitesurfing spot. Warm sea breezes come in November to March.![]()
