Tropical water, not super clear, usually quite choppy. Tidal difference only less than one meter. Good kitesurfing season from November to February.
Great beach, 15 km long, sandy. At some areas there is a bit of beach enforcement so be careful there. No problem to launch at any place.
Tropical, no wetsuit needed. During winter, the windy season, it gets a little chilly, specially during morning and evening hours. In summer it gets very ugly hot. You can kitesurf all year round. From May to October: air temperature 28-33°C, water temperature 26-30°C, strong sun! From November to March: air temperature 20-28°C, water temperature 18-26°C, wetsuit needed (shorty only). In general it is not one of these windy places for kiteboarding. Strong winds are rare, but during the winter months, November to March, most days have a few hours with winds above 10 knots, maybe 30%-50% of the days have a few hours even above 15 knots. Direction is usually side-shore or slightly offshore.
