Boracay Island
Bulabog Beach has flat to choppy water. Outside of the reef are small waves. You need booties, many sea-urchins or just keep your feet on the board. It's a long but narrow, sandy kitesurf beach. Trees are close to the water line, so be careful when you launch your kite. Generally, the best time to kitesurf there is from the middle of December to middle of March (off-season for typhoons). It's hot all year round. The water is warm and no wetsuit is needed for kiteboarding. Only downside is the water quality: the islands main sewer leads into Bulabog bay. Watch for infections!![]()
