Thailand at our

Phan Thiet, Mui Ne
Hom Ron Beach: best for kiteboarding in dry season. November to end of April, regular on-shore 30 knots wind. Shore break has no corals. The more you go east the smaller the waves get and bigger to the west.
Full Moon Beach: best in dry season, 18 to 30 knots winds, some times up to 40 knots! Side-shore wind. Gear available for rent at the Jibe's, beach boys. They are on duty all year round. Great for slalom and free-ride. In rainy season averaging 14 knots. Kitesurfing to Mui Ne and back is fun (8km one way). When it has 15 knots wind on the beach it has often 20 knots 200m from the shore.
Khe Ga: at he light house good wave in dry season. Located 30km south west of Phan Thiet.
Suoi Nuoc: radical on shore kitesurf conditions mostly high waves on windy days.

Phan Thiet is a small town 3 hours from Saigon. Not much to do on no-wind days. Some nice resorts to hang out.
