Learn kitesurfing at the KITOONS SCHOOL
Take a beginner kitesurfing course in Thailand with our certified IKO teachers. Kiteboarding is relatively easy to learn. The courses teach you all you need to know to get up and riding on your kiteboard. We offer
different kitesurfing course packages, as well as individual kitesurf lessons for beginners and advanced kitesurfers. We teach at 3 locations in Thailand depending on the wind season: Phuket, Chumphon, Hua Hin and Pranburi:

LEVEL 1 – DISCOVERY :: 1 Day / 3 Hours ::
Part 1	Theory • Wind direction and strength • The wind window, kite positions, power control • Launching and landing the kite
Part 2	Basic kite control • You will learn how to steer with a small trainer power kite
Part 3	Basic kite flying skills • Learn to put the kite in different positions of the wind window • Functions of different kite positions in the wind window
Part 4	Safety in theory and practice • Weather, wind direction and strength • Launching and landing a kite safely • Equipment do's and don't's
Part 5	Introduction to tube kites • Learn how to set up these type of kitesufing kites
Part 6	Basic flying skills with a tube kite • Learn to fly these type of kites on water

LEVEL 2 – FIRST RIDE :: 2 Days / 8 Hours ::
Part 1	Safety • How to de-power a tube kite over water • Release system and self-release
Part 2	More kite skills • Launch and land with two hands and one hand on the bar • The water-relaunch of the kite
Part 3	Body dragging • Learn to body-drag in different directions in the water
Part 4	The power stroke • Learn the power stroke and power body dragging
Part 5	The water start • Get on the board and have your first ride!
Part 6	Self-rescue • Perform a self-rescue using the kite as a sail
Price	Private: 11,000 BHT – Semi-private: 8,000 BHT

LEVEL 3 – SKILLS :: 1 Day / 3 Hours ::
Skill 1	Perfecting the basics • Advanced body-dragging • The perfect way to launch and land • Advanced kite control
Skill 2	Advanced riding skills • Body position on the board • Power control when riding • Learn to edge with the kiteboard • Kitesurf up-wind and hold your position on the beach
Skill 3	Equipment know-how & maintenance • Different kite and board sizes • Equipment maintenance and care
Price	Private: 5,000.- BHT per day
	Semi-private: 3,000 BHT per day

INDIVIDUAL LESSONS
Lesson	Work on a new move or refresh your course • You can book us for whatever you want to work on
Price	Private: 1,600.- BHT per hour
	Semi-Private: 1,000.- BHT per hour

Our kitesurfing courses will teach you everything you need to know to become an independent kitesufer. Each course part is complete in itself, but you will need to go through the whole program to become independent. If your time is limited, you can do as much as you want and continue with us or elsewhere later on. Please note that Hua Hin, Chumphon and Phuket have all different wind seasons. Check the information in the right column for the wind seasons in Thailand.

You can choose between private lessons 1-on-1 with a kitesurf teacher or take a semi-private course limited to 2 students per kitesurfing teacher. The courses include all rental kitesurf equipment.

We will always take you to the best location at a certain day. To make this easy and convenient for you, we will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the kitesurf spot.

Pay what you get. The wind blows not all the time as you know. We offer as the only school in Thailand a full refund for un-used hours. When you cancel 3 days in advance we will refund the full course fee.

For expats in Bangkok we offer a free 1 hour introduction. We will take you through the details of what you will learn, tailor the course schedule to meet your needs, introduce you to the kitesurfing equipment and be available for your questions. A cool drink in our garden is inclusive :)

Kitesurfing is a great sport for anybody from15-60. You need to have a basic fitness and good swimming skills. The course takes place in warm and shallow water, preserving your energy. The locations in Hua Hin, Chumphon and Phuket are free from hazards and the winds are normally moderate. Make your holiday exciting and learn kiteboarding.
